Our Winter Ball last night was a huge success! The DJ kept the place hopping and both the kids and parents were dancing all over the place! We had a lot of wonderful raffle items and would like to thank everyone who donated. Some of the prizes included:
1. Free Kickboxing lessons from the Master Academy of Martial Arts 2. Free Pizza Meal Deals (gift certificates) from Papa Gino's 3. Wonderful "Country-Style" Christmas Decorations 4. Beautiful Gold Necklaces form Piette Jewelers 5. Clothes 6. Toys (Including a HUGE Hess Truck!!) ...and many, many more! The number of items was more than we could have expected! We all had a great time and we can't wait to see you all at the next one! Check our calendar (on the Home page) for PTO events. We have movie nights all the time and the "Sock Hop" in the Spring is sure to be another rip-roaring good time! The turn-out for our first "holiday shopping" babysitting night was lower than we expected, but those of us there had a great time playing sports with the CCF kids and Principal Ron had a movie ready to go when needed! We think the idea of providing our busy parents with an opportunity to leave their children somewhere safe while they make use of some valuable, and often rare, time alone is a good one and look forward to the next Fairmount Schools PTO babysitting night....we're sure you do too!
